Ashley Stanley

Bio

Ashley Stanley is a Certified Orientation and Mobility Specialist (COMS) with a lifelong commitment to serving individuals who are blind or have low vision. She began her career at the Lighthouse for the Blind, supporting adults in developing independent travel skills, before moving to the Houston area to work with children and young adults. Several years ago, Ashley returned to North Texas to start a family and now serves as a COMS in a local school district. Her diverse experience across age groups continues to shape her work and her impact.

We are deeply grateful for Ashley’s ongoing support of the North Texas White Cane Safety Day Celebration. For the 16th annual event, she played a key role in route planning, recommended speakers, and brought valuable insight from her years of involvement. Over many events, Ashley has shared her expertise and energy to help ensure each celebration’s success. Her commitment makes a lasting difference, and we extend heartfelt thanks for her continued contributions to this tradition.
